How many people wonder, at the end of their lives: Did I make a difference in the world? I was recently the recipient of a 'Moments Worth Remembering' compilation of very special messages, courtesy of my dear friend (and Virtual Kid Brother) Oleg Lougheed...and my very secretive, amazing wife Tina. At age 55 (and hoping I am nowhere near the end yet), I was absolutely rocked emotionally as I sat on the couch while my Tina filmed the unveiling. Over the past 31 years, I have enjoyed life as a Radio Personality, Stand-Up Comedian, DJ/Emcee and Professional Speaker...and as I read the messages that so many people shared...I was speechless. Trust me, that is NOT an easy thing to do. If ever I find myself wondering about 'impact' again, I will peruse the pages of this book...and then double-down on my efforts to continue putting positive energy into the lives of as many people as I can, every day.

Every response in the book tugs at my heart strings. I cannot read through the book without getting teary eyed. The kindness shared with me by the thoughtfulness of others is both honoring and humbling. When I read through the book the first time, I had the thought that it was like being at my own funeral service, except that I had the advantage of personally hearing kind things shared. How do I say, "Thank You?" For all who participated … please know that your thoughtfulness and kind words mean much.

It was the most surprising and thoughtful gift I have ever received. With all the hardships and negativity and trying times in the world, sometimes it’s easy to get lost. This helped me see how clearly I matter and the impact just one person can have. It hit home in so many ways and the things that people said varied from familiar to anecdotal to pure and groundbreaking. Truly a gift I will cherish forever.

I recently purchased an MWR book to celebrate my Mom on her 80th birthday. I had received an MWR this past Christmas and was overjoyed by the warm, personal messages I received from friends and colleagues throughout my life. The photos brought back joyful memories and experiences that warmed my heart and brought a smile to my face.
